What is ayurvedic massage?
Ayurvedic massage comes from India's traditional medical system and is one part of a wider approach to health. The best known form, abhyanga, uses generous amounts of warm herbal oil chosen for your constitution (dosha), applied with long, rhythmic strokes over the whole body, often by a therapist working both sides in unison. The oil is left on for a while afterwards to absorb.
