1. What Massage Radar is

• Nature of the service: an advertising directory for massage therapists, spas, salons and agencies — not an employer, an agency or a booking platform.
• Express statement that appointments are arranged and paid for directly between the client and the listing, and that we take no commission and no part in them.
• Identity of the operating entity, registered office and company number.

2. Listing requirements

• Only qualified, insured massage practitioners and legitimate businesses may list; evidence may be requested at any time.
• Accuracy of the details, treatments, rates and photographs published.
• Ownership of, or licence to use, every image submitted.
• Compliance with the content and photo guidelines, including the ban on explicit, suggestive or misleading material.
• Prohibition on listing on behalf of a third party without authority to do so.
• Responsibility for the advertiser's own tax, insurance and regulatory obligations.

3. Client obligations

• Use of the directory for genuine enquiries only.
• Prohibition on harassment, abuse and misuse of contact details obtained from a listing.
• Prohibition on scraping, bulk downloading and automated use of the directory.
• Sole responsibility for the arrangements they make with a listing.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

• Explicit, sexualised or suggestive content, in text or images.
• Misrepresentation of qualifications, insurance or identity.
• Fake reviews or testimonials, on this site or elsewhere.
• Signs of coercion or exploitation of any person connected with a listing.
• Takedown procedure, and when the authorities will be notified.

5. Paid plans and billing

• Description of the Regular, Standard, Prime, Exclusive and Elite plans and what each includes.
• Monthly subscription through PayPal, automatic renewal, and how to cancel from the PayPal account or by bank-transfer arrangement.
• Refund policy, the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations where it applies, and its waiver once the listing is live.
• Referral bonus terms for the plans that include it.
• Effect of non-payment: the listing reverts to Regular rather than being removed.

6. Verification and the verified badge

• What the badge means and what it does not: a check of identity, business details and qualifications on a stated date, not a guarantee of the service.
• Documents requested, how they are stored and when they are deleted.
• Re-checks and the circumstances in which the badge is withdrawn.

7. Removal of listings and suspension of accounts

• Grounds for immediate suspension and for suspension on notice.
• Appeal procedure.
• Effect on payments already made.

8. Limitation of liability

• Scope of the exclusion for content supplied by advertisers and for treatments arranged through the directory.
• Limits that UK consumer law does not permit to be excluded.

9. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction

• Complaints channel and response times.
• Governing law and competent courts.
• Note: Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own legal systems.
