In a four hands massage, two therapists work on you at the same time, mirroring each other's strokes so that both sides of the body receive identical attention in the same moment. The technique underneath is usually Swedish or relaxing, sometimes with warm oil, and the therapists rehearse their choreography beforehand. It is offered by spas with the staff to pair up, by agencies, and by independent therapists who work together regularly rather than in ad hoc combinations.
Sessions are 60 minutes as a rule, occasionally 90, and are priced close to double a single treatment.
